मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-128, verse-51

तस्यैतच्चरितं श्रुत्वा मरुत्तस्य महात्मनः ।
जन्म चाग्र्यं द्विजश्रेठ मुच्यते सर्वकिल्बिषैः ॥५१॥
51. tasyaitaccaritaṃ śrutvā maruttasya mahātmanaḥ .
janma cāgryaṃ dvijaśreṭha mucyate sarvakilbiṣaiḥ.
51. tasya etat caritam śrutvā maruttasya mahātmanaḥ
janma ca agryam dvijaśreṣṭha mucyate sarvakilbiṣaiḥ
51. O best among twice-born (dvijaśreṣṭha), by hearing this account of the great-souled (mahātman) Marutta and his noble birth, one is liberated from all sins.
