अविक्षिदुवाच ।
शरणागतसन्त्राणं मया कार्यमयं च मे ।
अपराध्यः सुतो विप्रा यो हन्ति शरणागतान् ॥३२॥

अपराध्यः सुतो विप्रा यो हन्ति शरणागतान् ॥३२॥
32. avikṣiduvāca .
śaraṇāgatasantrāṇaṃ mayā kāryamayaṃ ca me .
aparādhyaḥ suto viprā yo hanti śaraṇāgatān.
śaraṇāgatasantrāṇaṃ mayā kāryamayaṃ ca me .

avikṣit uvāca śaraṇāgata-santrāṇam mayā kāryam ayam
ca me aparādhyaḥ sutaḥ viprāḥ yaḥ hanti śaraṇāgatān

32.
Avikṣit said: 'O Brahmins, the protection of those who seek refuge must be undertaken by me. Furthermore, this son of mine is culpable, for he kills those who have sought refuge.'
