मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
सा तु वीरा समभ्येत्य पुत्रमेतदभाषत ।
मद्वाक्यादेष ते पुत्रो हन्तुं नागान्कृतोद्यमः ॥३५॥

35. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
sā tu vīrā samabhyetya putrametadabhāṣata .
madvākyādeṣa te putro hantuṃ nāgānkṛtodyamaḥ.

abhāṣata mat-vākyāt eṣaḥ te putraḥ hantum nāgān kṛta-udyamaḥ

Mārkaṇḍeya said: 'But that heroic woman, having approached her son, said this: "By my command, this son of yours is determined to kill the serpents."'
