मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-128, verse-48

तासां पुत्रास्तस्य चासन्भूभृतोऽष्टादश द्विज ।
तेषां प्रधानो ज्येष्ठश्च नरिष्यन्तः सुतोऽभवत् ॥४८॥
48. tāsāṃ putrāstasya cāsanbhūbhṛto'ṣṭādaśa dvija .
teṣāṃ pradhāno jyeṣṭhaśca nariṣyantaḥ suto'bhavat.
48. tāsām putrāḥ tasya ca āsan bhūbhṛtaḥ aṣṭādaśa dvija
teṣām pradhānaḥ jyeṣṭhaḥ ca nariṣyantaḥ sutaḥ abhavat
48. O twice-born (dvija), that king had eighteen sons. Among them, Nariṣyanta was the principal and eldest son.
