तस्मिन्निपतिते वीरे पत्यौ सर्वमहीक्षिताम् ।
महास्वना पुनर्दीप्ता सनिर्घाता भयंकरी ।
पपात चोल्का महती पतिते पृथिवीपतौ ॥४७॥
47. tasminnipatite vīre patyau sarvamahīkṣitām ,
mahāsvanā punardīptā sanirghātā bhayaṁkarī ,
papāta colkā mahatī patite pṛthivīpatau.

47. When that hero, the lord of all sovereigns, fell, a meteor (ulkā) — great-sounding, re-blazing, thunderous, and terrifying — fell. Indeed, a great meteor (ulkā) also fell at the demise of the ruler of the earth.
