महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-57, verse-10

कृत्वा हि सुमहत्कर्म हत्वा भीष्ममुखान्कुरून् ।
जयः प्राप्तो यशश्चाग्र्यं वैरं च प्रतियातितम् ।
तदेवं विजयः प्राप्तः पुनः संशयितः कृतः ॥१०॥
10. kṛtvā hi sumahatkarma hatvā bhīṣmamukhānkurūn ,
jayaḥ prāpto yaśaścāgryaṁ vairaṁ ca pratiyātitam ,
tadevaṁ vijayaḥ prāptaḥ punaḥ saṁśayitaḥ kṛtaḥ.
10. kṛtvā hi su-mahat karma hatvā bhīṣma-mukhān
kurūn | jayaḥ prāptaḥ yaśaḥ ca
agryam vairam ca pratiyātitam | tat evam
vijayaḥ prāptaḥ punar saṃśayitaḥ kṛtaḥ
10. hi su-mahat karma kṛtvā,
bhīṣma-mukhān kurūn hatvā,
jayaḥ prāptaḥ,
ca agryam yaśaḥ (prāptam),

tat evam (api) prāptaḥ vijayaḥ punaḥ saṃśayitaḥ kṛtaḥ.
10. Indeed, after accomplishing a truly great feat and slaying the prominent Kurus led by Bhīṣma, victory was attained, along with supreme glory, and the enmity was avenged. However, this very victory, thus achieved, has once again been made doubtful.
