dharmarājasya eṣā mahatī a-buddhiḥ,

O Pāṇḍava, this is a grave lack of judgment on the part of the king who upholds natural law (dharma-rāja), that the war was wagered in such a way for just one victory. Furthermore, Suyodhana, that accomplished and brave warrior, has become utterly resolute (ekāyanagata).
