महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-57, verse-37

दुर्योधनस्तं च वेद पीडितं पाण्डवं रणे ।
धारयामास भीमोऽपि शरीरमतिपीडितम् ॥३७॥
37. duryodhanastaṁ ca veda pīḍitaṁ pāṇḍavaṁ raṇe ,
dhārayāmāsa bhīmo'pi śarīramatipīḍitam.
37. duryodhanaḥ tam ca veda pīḍitam pāṇḍavam raṇe
| dhārayāmāsa bhīmaḥ api śarīram atipīḍitam
37. duryodhanaḥ tam pāṇḍavam raṇe pīḍitam ca veda.
bhīmaḥ api atipīḍitam śarīram dhārayāmāsa.
37. Duryodhana also knew that the Pāṇḍava (Bhīma) was suffering greatly in battle. Bhīma, though exceedingly pained himself, maintained control of his body.
