महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-95, verse-46

ववुश्च तुमुला वाताः शंसन्तः सुमहद्भयम् ।
घोराश्च घोरनिर्ह्रादाः शिवास्तत्र ववाशिरे ।
वेदयन्त्यो महाराज महद्वैशसमागतम् ॥४६॥
46. vavuśca tumulā vātāḥ śaṁsantaḥ sumahadbhayam ,
ghorāśca ghoranirhrādāḥ śivāstatra vavāśire ,
vedayantyo mahārāja mahadvaiśasamāgatam.
46. vavuḥ ca tumulāḥ vātāḥ śaṃsantaḥ
sumahat bhayam ghorāḥ ca ghoranirhrādāḥ
śivāḥ tatra vavāśire vedayantyaḥ
mahārāja mahat vaiśasam āgatam
46. ca tumulāḥ vātāḥ sumahat bhayam śaṃsantaḥ vavuḥ.
ca tatra ghorāḥ ghoranirhrādāḥ śivāḥ mahārāja mahat āgatam vaiśasam vedayantyaḥ vavāśire.
46. Tumultuous winds blew, foreboding very great danger. And there, terrible jackals, with dreadful howls, wailed, announcing, O great king, a major impending disaster.
