The Pāṇḍavas, raising loud shouts (kṣveḍāḥ), war-cries (kilakilāśabdān), piercing sounds (krakacān), and the sounds of cow-horns (goviṣāṇikāḥ), and causing the drums (bherī, mṛdaṅga, paṇava, and puṣkara) to resound, rushed forward making terrifying roars.
