महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-95, verse-12

कन्या भूत्वा पुमाञ्जातः स च योत्स्यति भारत ।
तस्याहं प्रमुखे बाणान्न मुञ्चेयं कथंचन ॥१२॥

12. kanyā bhūtvā pumāñjātaḥ sa ca yotsyati bhārata ,
tasyāhaṁ pramukhe bāṇānna muñceyaṁ kathaṁcana.

12. O descendant of Bharata, she, having first been a girl, became a man, and he will fight. I would certainly never release arrows in his presence.
