महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-95, verse-45

पक्षिणश्च महाघोरं व्याहरन्तो विबभ्रमुः ।
सप्रभश्चोदितः सूर्यो निष्प्रभः समपद्यत ॥४५॥
45. pakṣiṇaśca mahāghoraṁ vyāharanto vibabhramuḥ ,
saprabhaścoditaḥ sūryo niṣprabhaḥ samapadyata.

saprabhaḥ ca uditaḥ sūryaḥ niṣprabhaḥ samapadyata

45. And birds, shrieking terribly, roamed about. The sun, though risen with its usual splendor, became lusterless.
