महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-95, verse-2

दुर्योधनस्य तच्छ्रुत्वा रात्रौ विलपितं बहु ।
मन्यमानः स तं राजन्प्रत्यादेशमिवात्मनः ॥२॥
2. duryodhanasya tacchrutvā rātrau vilapitaṁ bahu ,
manyamānaḥ sa taṁ rājanpratyādeśamivātmanaḥ.

2. rājan,
(bhīṣmaḥ) rātrau duryodhanasya tat bahu vilapitam śrutvā,

2. O King (Dhṛtarāṣṭra), Bhīṣma, having heard Duryodhana's extensive lamentation during the night, considered that (lamentation) to be, as it were, a rejection (pratyādeśa) of himself.
