महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-92, verse-43

नैतेष्वनुपविष्टेषु शक्यं केनचिदासितुम् ।
पूजा प्रयुज्यतामाशु मुनीनां भावितात्मनाम् ॥४३॥
43. naiteṣvanupaviṣṭeṣu śakyaṁ kenacidāsitum ,
pūjā prayujyatāmāśu munīnāṁ bhāvitātmanām.
43. na eteṣu anupaviṣṭeṣu śakyam kenacit āsitum
pūjā prayujyatām āśu munīnām bhāvitātmanām
43. While these sages have not yet been seated, it is not proper for anyone to sit. Therefore, quickly offer respectful worship to these sages whose inner self (ātman) has been cultivated.
