महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-9, verse-6

स तपस्वी मृदुर्दान्तो धर्मे तपसि चोद्यतः ।
तपोऽतप्यन्महत्तीव्रं सुदुश्चरमरिंदम ॥६॥
6. sa tapasvī mṛdurdānto dharme tapasi codyataḥ ,
tapo'tapyanmahattīvraṁ suduścaramariṁdama.
