महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-9, verse-31

इन्द्र उवाच ।
पश्चाद्धर्मं चरिष्यामि पावनार्थं सुदुश्चरम् ।
शत्रुरेष महावीर्यो वज्रेण निहतो मया ॥३१॥
31. indra uvāca ,
paścāddharmaṁ cariṣyāmi pāvanārthaṁ suduścaram ,
śatrureṣa mahāvīryo vajreṇa nihato mayā.
31. indraḥ uvāca paścāt dharmam cariṣyāmi pāvanārtham
suduścaram śatruḥ eṣaḥ mahāvīryaḥ vajreṇa nihataḥ mayā
31. Indra said: "Afterward, I will undertake a very difficult act for purification, a righteous conduct (dharma). This mighty enemy was struck down by me with my thunderbolt."
