महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-9, verse-21

वज्रमस्य क्षिपाम्यद्य स क्षिप्रं न भविष्यति ।
शत्रुः प्रवृद्धो नोपेक्ष्यो दुर्बलोऽपि बलीयसा ॥२१॥

21. vajramasya kṣipāmyadya sa kṣipraṁ na bhaviṣyati ,
śatruḥ pravṛddho nopekṣyo durbalo'pi balīyasā.

21. vajram asya kṣipāmi adya sa kṣipram na bhaviṣyati |
śatruḥ pravṛddhaḥ na upekṣyaḥ durbalaḥ api balīyasā

21. I shall now hurl my thunderbolt (vajra) at him; he will quickly cease to exist. An enemy, having grown powerful, should not be overlooked by a stronger individual, even if that enemy appears weak.
