महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-32, verse-30

चक्ररक्षश्च शूरश्च शोणाश्वो नाम विश्रुतः ।
स भयाद्द्वैरथं दृष्ट्वा त्रैगर्तं प्राजहत्तदा ॥३०॥
30. cakrarakṣaśca śūraśca śoṇāśvo nāma viśrutaḥ ,
sa bhayāddvairathaṁ dṛṣṭvā traigartaṁ prājahattadā.

bhayāt dvairatham dṛṣṭvā traigartam prājahat tadā
30. The brave and renowned protector of the wheels, named Shoṇāśva, then abandoned the King of Trigarta, having seen the chariot duel, out of fear.
