महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-32, verse-18

मा भीम साहसं कार्षीस्तिष्ठत्वेष वनस्पतिः ।
मा त्वा वृक्षेण कर्माणि कुर्वाणमतिमानुषम् ।
जनाः समवबुध्येरन्भीमोऽयमिति भारत ॥१८॥
18. mā bhīma sāhasaṁ kārṣīstiṣṭhatveṣa vanaspatiḥ ,
mā tvā vṛkṣeṇa karmāṇi kurvāṇamatimānuṣam ,
janāḥ samavabudhyeranbhīmo'yamiti bhārata.
18. mā bhīma sāhasam kārṣīḥ tiṣṭhatu
eṣa vanaspatiḥ mā tvā vṛkṣeṇa karmāṇi
kurvāṇam atimānuṣam janāḥ
samavabudhyeran bhīmaḥ ayam iti bhārata
18. O Bhima, do not undertake such a daring act. Let this tree remain where it is. O Bharata, people should not realize that you are performing superhuman (atimānuṣam) deeds with a tree, [leading them to think] 'This is Bhima!'
