महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-40, verse-49

तत एनं महादेवः पीड्य गात्रैः सुपीडितम् ।
तेजसा व्याक्रमद्रोषाच्चेतस्तस्य विमोहयन् ॥४९॥
49. tata enaṁ mahādevaḥ pīḍya gātraiḥ supīḍitam ,
tejasā vyākramadroṣāccetastasya vimohayan.
49. tataḥ enam mahādevaḥ pīḍya gātraiḥ supīḍitam
tejasā vyākramat krodhāt cetaḥ tasya vimohayan
49. Then, Mahadeva, having pressed him hard with his limbs until he was thoroughly crushed, angrily overpowered him with his formidable energy, bewildering his mind.
