महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-40, verse-39

संप्रायुध्यद्धनुष्कोट्या कौन्तेयः परवीरहा ।
तदप्यस्य धनुर्दिव्यं जग्रास गिरिगोचरः ॥३९॥
39. saṁprāyudhyaddhanuṣkoṭyā kaunteyaḥ paravīrahā ,
tadapyasya dhanurdivyaṁ jagrāsa girigocaraḥ.
39. samprāyudhyat dhanuṣkoṭyā kaunteyaḥ paravīrahā
tat api asya dhanuḥ divyam jagrāsa girigocaraḥ
39. Then Arjuna (Kaunteya), the slayer of enemy heroes, fought with the tip of his bow. But even his divine bow was devoured by the mountain-dweller.
