महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-40, verse-4

देव्या सहोमया श्रीमान्समानव्रतवेषया ।
नानावेषधरैर्हृष्टैर्भूतैरनुगतस्तदा ॥४॥
4. devyā sahomayā śrīmānsamānavrataveṣayā ,
nānāveṣadharairhṛṣṭairbhūtairanugatastadā.
4. devyā saha umayā śrīmān samānavrataveṣayā
nānāveṣadharaiḥ hṛṣṭaiḥ bhūtaiḥ anugataḥ tadā
4. The glorious Lord (Shiva) was then accompanied by the goddess Umā, who shared his vow and attire, and by his delighted attendants (bhūtas) who wore various disguises.
