कामात्परिभवाद्वापि न मे जीवन्विमोक्ष्यसे ।
न ह्येष मृगयाधर्मो यस्त्वयाद्य कृतो मयि ।
तेन त्वां भ्रंशयिष्यामि जीवितात्पर्वताश्रय ॥२०॥

20. kāmātparibhavādvāpi na me jīvanvimokṣyase ,
na hyeṣa mṛgayādharmo yastvayādya kṛto mayi ,
tena tvāṁ bhraṁśayiṣyāmi jīvitātparvatāśraya.

kāmāt paribhavāt vā api na me jīvan
vimokṣyase na hi eṣaḥ mṛgayādharmaḥ
yaḥ tvayā adya kṛtaḥ mayi tena tvām
bhraṃśayiṣyāmi jīvitāt parvatāśraya
vimokṣyase na hi eṣaḥ mṛgayādharmaḥ
yaḥ tvayā adya kṛtaḥ mayi tena tvām

20.
"Whether from desire or from disdain, you will not escape me alive. For this is not the natural law (dharma) of hunting that you have practiced against me today. Therefore, O dweller of the mountains, I will certainly deprive you of your life."
