महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-163, verse-9

विद्यामधीत्य तां राजंस्त्वयोक्तामरिमर्दन ।
भवता च समादिष्टस्तपसे प्रस्थितो वनम् ॥९॥
9. vidyāmadhītya tāṁ rājaṁstvayoktāmarimardana ,
bhavatā ca samādiṣṭastapase prasthito vanam.

bhavatā ca samādiṣṭaḥ tapase prasthitaḥ vanam
9. O king, O destroyer of enemies (arimardana), after learning that knowledge (vidyā) which you imparted, and having been directed by you towards asceticism (tapas), I proceeded to the forest.
