महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-163, verse-32

स्थूणाकर्णमयोजालं शरवर्षं शरोल्बणम् ।
शैलास्त्रमश्मवर्षं च समास्थायाहमभ्ययाम् ।
जग्रास प्रहसंस्तानि सर्वाण्यस्त्राणि मेऽनघ ॥३२॥
32. sthūṇākarṇamayojālaṁ śaravarṣaṁ śarolbaṇam ,
śailāstramaśmavarṣaṁ ca samāsthāyāhamabhyayām ,
jagrāsa prahasaṁstāni sarvāṇyastrāṇi me'nagha.

32. O sinless one (anagha), I then deployed a network of *sthūṇākarṇa* weapons, a shower of arrows thick with missiles; and employing a mountain-weapon (śailāstra) and a rain of stones, I advanced. But he, laughing, swallowed all those weapons of mine.
