महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-163, verse-43

स मामभ्येत्य समरे तथैवाभिमुखं स्थितम् ।
शूलपाणिरथोवाच तुष्टोऽस्मीति परंतप ॥४३॥
43. sa māmabhyetya samare tathaivābhimukhaṁ sthitam ,
śūlapāṇirathovāca tuṣṭo'smīti paraṁtapa.
43. saḥ mām abhyetya samare tathā eva abhimukham sthitam
śūlapāṇiḥ atha uvāca tuṣṭaḥ asmi iti paraṃtapa
43. Then, He, the spear-wielding (Shiva), having approached me as I stood facing Him in battle, said, 'I am pleased,' O scorcher of foes.
