भगवान्मे प्रसन्नश्चेदीप्सितोऽयं वरो मम ।
अस्त्राणीच्छाम्यहं ज्ञातुं यानि देवेषु कानिचित् ।
ददानीत्येव भगवानब्रवीत्त्र्यम्बकश्च माम् ॥४७॥

"If Your Lordship is pleased with me, then this is the boon I desire: I wish to know whatever weapons exist among the gods." The Lord (Bhagavān), the three-eyed one (Tryambaka), then said to me, "I grant them."
