महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-42, verse-26

एतद्यो वेद विधिवत्स मुक्तः स्याद्द्विजर्षभाः ।
विमुक्तः सर्वपापेभ्य इति चैव निबोधत ॥२६॥
26. etadyo veda vidhivatsa muktaḥ syāddvijarṣabhāḥ ,
vimuktaḥ sarvapāpebhya iti caiva nibodhata.
26. etat yaḥ veda vidhivat sa muktaḥ syāt dvijarṣabhāḥ
vimuktaḥ sarvapāpebhyah iti ca eva nibodhata
26. O best among the twice-born (dvija)s, whoever knows this properly would attain liberation (mokṣa). And indeed, understand that he is completely freed from all sins.
