महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-153, verse-41

न च मे तद्वचो मूढः कृतवान्स सुमन्दधीः ।
घातयित्वेह पृथिवीं ततः स निधनं गतः ॥४१॥
41. na ca me tadvaco mūḍhaḥ kṛtavānsa sumandadhīḥ ,
ghātayitveha pṛthivīṁ tataḥ sa nidhanaṁ gataḥ.
41. na ca me tat vacaḥ mūḍhaḥ kṛtavān saḥ sumandadhīḥ
ghātayitvā iha pṛthivīm tataḥ saḥ nidhanam gataḥ
41. ca na saḥ mūḍhaḥ sumandadhīḥ me tat vacaḥ kṛtavān.
iha pṛthivīm ghātayitvā tataḥ saḥ nidhanam gataḥ
41. And that deluded, very dull-witted one, Duryodhana, did not heed my words. Having caused the destruction of kings on this earth, he then met his end.
