महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-56, verse-7

उदयन्हि यथा सूर्यो नाशयत्यासुरं तमः ।
राजधर्मास्तथालोक्यामाक्षिपन्त्यशुभां गतिम् ॥७॥
7. udayanhi yathā sūryo nāśayatyāsuraṁ tamaḥ ,
rājadharmāstathālokyāmākṣipantyaśubhāṁ gatim.

rāja-dharmāḥ tathā alokyām ākṣipanti aśubhām gatim

7. Just as the rising sun indeed destroys demonic darkness, similarly, the natural laws (dharma) of kings repel an inauspicious destiny.
