महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-56, verse-49

अवमन्यन्ति भर्तारं संहर्षादुपजीविनः ।
स्वे स्थाने न च तिष्ठन्ति लङ्घयन्ति हि तद्वचः ॥४९॥

49. avamanyanti bhartāraṁ saṁharṣādupajīvinaḥ ,
sve sthāne na ca tiṣṭhanti laṅghayanti hi tadvacaḥ.

49. Out of overexcitement, dependents disrespect their master, do not remain in their proper place, and indeed transgress his word.
