महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-56, verse-18

ऋषीणामपि राजेन्द्र सत्यमेव परं धनम् ।
तथा राज्ञः परं सत्यान्नान्यद्विश्वासकारणम् ॥१८॥

18. O king (rājendra), even for sages, truth is indeed the highest wealth. Likewise, for a king, there is no other cause for trust superior to truth.
