महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-173, verse-32

पाणिमन्तो धनैर्युक्ता बलवन्तो न संशयः ।
मनुष्या मानुषैरेव दासत्वमुपपादिताः ॥३२॥
32. pāṇimanto dhanairyuktā balavanto na saṁśayaḥ ,
manuṣyā mānuṣaireva dāsatvamupapāditāḥ.
