महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-173, verse-16

ये खल्वजिह्वाः कृपणा अल्पप्राणा अपाणयः ।
सहन्ते तानि दुःखानि दिष्ट्या त्वं न तथा मुने ॥१६॥

16. ye khalvajihvāḥ kṛpaṇā alpaprāṇā apāṇayaḥ ,
sahante tāni duḥkhāni diṣṭyā tvaṁ na tathā mune.

16. Indeed, those who are honest, wretched, weak-spirited, and handless, they endure those sufferings. Fortunately, O sage, you are not like that.
