अन्येषामपि नश्यन्ति सुहृदश्च धनानि च ।
पश्य बुद्ध्या मनुष्याणां राजन्नापदमात्मनः ।
नियच्छ यच्छ संयच्छ इन्द्रियाणि मनो गिरम् ॥४६॥

46. anyeṣāmapi naśyanti suhṛdaśca dhanāni ca ,
paśya buddhyā manuṣyāṇāṁ rājannāpadamātmanaḥ ,
niyaccha yaccha saṁyaccha indriyāṇi mano giram.

46. O King, observe with your intellect that the friends and wealth of others also perish, just as misfortune (āpad) can befall oneself. Therefore, restrain, control, and subdue your senses, mind, and speech.
