अभितः सोऽथ कल्माषीं गङ्गाकूले परिभ्रमन् ।
ब्राह्मणावसथं पुण्यमाससाद महीपतिः ॥५॥

Then, as he wandered around on the bank of the Gaṅgā near the Kalmāṣī river, that king (mahīpati) reached a sacred dwelling place of brāhmaṇas.
