महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-155, verse-11

येन मे कर्मणा ब्रह्मन्पुत्रः स्याद्द्रोणमृत्यवे ।
उपयाज कृते तस्मिन्गवां दातास्मि तेऽर्बुदम् ॥११॥
11. yena me karmaṇā brahmanputraḥ syāddroṇamṛtyave ,
upayāja kṛte tasmingavāṁ dātāsmi te'rbudam.
11. yena me karmaṇā brahman putraḥ syāt droṇamṛtyave
upayāja kṛte tasmin gavām dātā asmi te arbudam
11. “O Brahmin (brahman), O Upayāja, through what ritual (karma) can I have a son who will be the cause of Droṇa’s demise? Once that is accomplished, I will give you a hundred million cows.”
