याज उवाच ।
याजेन श्रपितं हव्यमुपयाजेन मन्त्रितम् ।
कथं कामं न संदध्यात्सा त्वं विप्रैहि तिष्ठ वा ॥३६॥

yājena śrapitaṁ havyamupayājena mantritam ,
kathaṁ kāmaṁ na saṁdadhyātsā tvaṁ vipraihi tiṣṭha vā.

Yāja said, "The oblation (havyam) has been prepared by Yāja and consecrated with mantras by Upayāja. How, then, can you (goddess) not fulfill the desire? So, you may depart or remain!"
