Manifesting his brahminical power (brahmatejas), he, like a fire fed with oblations, comes together (in battle) and consumes the warrior class (kṣatra) with his brahminical guidance (brahmapuraḥsara). And when both brahminical and warrior (kṣatra) powers are established, the brahminical power (brahmatejas) is superior.
