योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-6, verse-34

अद्य त्वेते परिज्ञाता मया स्वविषयारयः ।
कष्टा इन्द्रियनामानो वञ्चयित्वा तु मां पुनः ॥ ३४ ॥
adya tvete parijñātā mayā svaviṣayārayaḥ ,
kaṣṭā indriyanāmāno vañcayitvā tu māṃ punaḥ 34
34. adya tu ete parijñātāḥ mayā svaviṣayārayaḥ
kaṣṭāḥ indriyanāmānaḥ vañcayitvā tu mām punaḥ
34. adya tu mayā ete svaviṣayārayaḥ kaṣṭāḥ

34. But today, these troublesome enemies—my own sense objects, known by the name "senses" (indriya)—have been recognized by me, after they had repeatedly deceived me.
