योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-6, verse-28

भुक्त्वा वर्षसहस्राणि दुर्भोगपटलीमिमाम् ।
आब्रह्मस्तम्बपर्यन्तं न तृप्तिरुपजायते ॥ २८ ॥
bhuktvā varṣasahasrāṇi durbhogapaṭalīmimām ,
ābrahmastambaparyantaṃ na tṛptirupajāyate 28
28. bhuktvā varṣasahasrāṇi durbhogapaṭalīm imām
ābrahmastambaparyantam na tṛptiḥ upajāyate
28. imām durbhogapaṭalīm varṣasahasrāṇi

28. After experiencing this series of unfortunate conditions for thousands of years, throughout everything from the highest being (brahma) down to a blade of grass (stamba), satisfaction (tṛpti) does not arise.
