चित्तमिन्द्रियसेनाया नायकं तज्जयाज्जयः ।
उपानद्गूढपादस्य ननु चर्मावृतैव भूः ॥ ६ ॥

6. The mind (citta) is the leader of the army of senses; victory is achieved by conquering it. Indeed, for one whose foot is covered by a sandal, the entire earth is as if covered by leather.
