योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-163, verse-47

इदं बहूक्तमेतेन किमेतेनेति दुर्मतिः ।
न ग्राह्यैतावताप्युक्ते नादत्ते नेदमज्ञधीः ॥ ४७ ॥
idaṃ bahūktametena kimeteneti durmatiḥ ,
na grāhyaitāvatāpyukte nādatte nedamajñadhīḥ 47
47. idam bahu uktam etena kim etena iti durmatiḥ na
grāhyā etāvatā api ukte na ādatte na idam ajñadhīḥ
47. durmatiḥ 'idam etena bahu uktam,
etena kim?' iti (vadati).

47. The dull-witted person thinks, 'Much has been said here; what is the point of this?' Even with so much explained, it is not grasped, nor does the ignorant mind accept this.
