योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-163, verse-15

विवेकवानुदारात्मा विजितेन्द्रिय उच्यते ।
वासनावीचिवेगेन भवाब्धौ न स मुह्यते ॥ १५ ॥
vivekavānudārātmā vijitendriya ucyate ,
vāsanāvīcivegena bhavābdhau na sa muhyate 15

15. A person endowed with discrimination (viveka), noble-hearted, and one who has conquered their senses (indriya) is truly considered such. By the powerful waves of latent desires (vāsanā), such a one is not bewildered in the ocean of worldly existence (saṃsāra).
