योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-106, verse-47

द्रष्टा भोक्ताथ कर्ता वा कश्चित्स्यादितरो यदि ।
तत्कथं किमिदं दृश्यमिति युज्येत नान्यथा ॥ ४७ ॥

draṣṭā bhoktātha kartā vā kaścitsyāditaro yadi ,
tatkathaṃ kimidaṃ dṛśyamiti yujyeta nānyathā 47

tat katham kim idam dṛśyam iti yujyeta na anyathā

47. If there were another (entity) which was a seer, an enjoyer, or a doer, then how could the question 'What is this visible world?' be fitting? It would not be otherwise.
