योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-102, verse-37

नैव तस्य कृतेनार्थो नाऽकृतेनेह कश्चन ।
न चास्य सर्वभूतेषु कश्चिदर्थव्यपाश्रयः ॥ ३७ ॥
naiva tasya kṛtenārtho nā'kṛteneha kaścana ,
na cāsya sarvabhūteṣu kaścidarthavyapāśrayaḥ 37
37. na eva tasya kṛtena arthaḥ na akṛtena iha kaścana
na ca asya sarva-bhūteṣu kaścit artha-vyapāśrayaḥ
37. tasya kṛtena arthaḥ na eva asti,
na ca iha akṛtena kaścana asti.
asya sarva-bhūteṣu kaścit artha-vyapāśrayaḥ na ca asti.
37. For such a person, there is no gain (artha) or purpose whatsoever in what is done, nor in what is left undone in this world. Nor does that person have any reliance on any being for any personal benefit.
