योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-102, verse-31

गुणं ममेमं जानातु जनः पूजां करोतु मे ।
इत्यहंकारिणामीहा न तु तन्मुक्तचेतसाम् ॥ ३१ ॥

guṇaṃ mamemaṃ jānātu janaḥ pūjāṃ karotu me ,

iti ahaṅkāriṇām īhā na tu tat-mukta-cetasām

31. "Let people recognize this quality of mine; let them offer worship to me." Such is the desire of those driven by ego (ahaṅkāra), but not of those whose minds are freed from it.
