योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-102, verse-24

चित्तादर्शगतं दृश्यं सर्वं कपटकुट्टिमम् ।
पश्यन्त्यसत्परिज्ञातं स्वप्ने हेमेव हस्तगम् ॥ २४ ॥
cittādarśagataṃ dṛśyaṃ sarvaṃ kapaṭakuṭṭimam ,
paśyantyasatparijñātaṃ svapne hemeva hastagam 24

paśyanti asatparijñātam svapne hema iva hastagam

24. They perceive everything reflected in the mirror of the mind (citta) as a deceptive illusion, understanding it to be unreal, like gold held in one's hand within a dream.
