योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-86, verse-6

प्रबुद्धोऽपि सुषुप्तस्थः सुषुप्तस्थः प्रबुद्धवत् ।
तुर्यमालम्ब्य कायान्तस्तिष्ठामि स्तम्भितस्थितिः ॥ ६ ॥
prabuddho'pi suṣuptasthaḥ suṣuptasthaḥ prabuddhavat ,
turyamālambya kāyāntastiṣṭhāmi stambhitasthitiḥ 6
6. prabuddhaḥ api suṣuptasthaḥ suṣuptasthaḥ prabuddhavat
| turyam ālambya kāyāntaḥ tiṣṭhāmi stambhitasthitiḥ ||
6. prabuddhaḥ api suṣuptasthaḥ,
suṣuptasthaḥ prabuddhavat (aham) kāyāntaḥ turyam ālambya stambhitasthitiḥ tiṣṭhāmi
6. Though awakened, I am like one in deep sleep; though in deep sleep, I am like one awakened. Taking refuge in the transcendent (turiya) state while within the body, I remain with my condition completely still.
