श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
इमं गुणसमाहारमनात्मत्वेन पश्यतः ।
अन्तःशीतलता यासौ समाधिरिति कथ्यते ॥ ७ ॥

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: That inner serenity, which arises for one who perceives this aggregate of qualities as not being the self (ātman), is called meditative absorption (samādhi).
